Hi, my name is Russell.  I have been in the information technology field since 1982 when some of the first desktop computers began making their debut.  We have come a long way in both the hardware and software available and I continue to be amazed by new developments.  I have been involved in operations, design, and programming in the mainframe, client server, and desktop environments through the years.  I have completed  classes including analysis and design, joint application development, programming, and database design and administration.  All of these skills have been used through the years along with managing others in this field including infrastructure and networking plus analog, digital, and IP telephone systems. I am CompTIA A+ certified.  Additional skills include report generation in Microsoft Access and Crystal Reports.  Trained in and have some experience with Microsoft SSRS and Visual Basic.  I would love to become proficient in both of these reporting tools and network switch, router, and firewall configuration.
